Quincy Andrews Fenn

April 2, 1991 - January 10, 2017

Quincy Andrews Fenn returned to his Heavenly Father on January 10, 2017.  He was born April 2, 1991 to Celeste and Greg Johnson.

Quincy was raised in Uintah and loved growing up on Grandpa Fenn’s farm.  He joined the army at the age of 17 and proudly served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He received many awards.  Those awards include:  Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Achievement Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service, Overseas Service Ribbon, NOTO Medal, Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge.

Quincy attended Bonneville High School where he went to state for wrestling.  He also went to Clearfield High School where he received awards for debate. He signed up for a two year program at Trapper Creek High School in Darby, Montana so he could graduate early and join the Army.

Quincy loved to travel and meet new people.  He loved the outdoors.  He had many jobs, Home Depot and All Stripes being his favorite.  He was always a happy child and a go-getter, he was a high achiever. He was a member of the LDS Church.  He loved his YSA ward in Fort Collins.  He married Harleigh Marie Dodson in 2010 they later divorced.

Quincy touched many lives and gave generously to those who had less.

Quincy is survived by his parents, Greg and Celeste Johnson; sister, Summer; brother, Austin; many aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his Aunt Sonya; Uncle Kevin, Uncle Tommy, Grandpa Lyman, Grandma Linda, Grandma Johnson and his great grandparents.  Quincy was great-grandma Jones’ ice cream boy.  He was her first great-grandchild and loved him so much.

Quincy gave his life to others through his organ donations.  The family would like to thank Medical Center of the Rockies and the Donor Alliance for their support and care they gave us during this difficult time.

Fly with the eagles, Quincy.  Thank you for your service to our country.  We also thank your fellow comrades.  We love you.

Hello I just happened to read Quincy's obituary and felt compelled to write. It is my hope that some thoughts from the Bible will bring you some hope, comfort and peace. It was never God's intention that we should die. When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, he also put before them the prospect of living forever happy and in good health. (Genesis 1:28) Our creator has not given up on that original plan..perfect live on paradise earth...even though Satan, Adam and Eve messed up (Isaiah 55:10-11) The Bible tells us that it is Satan who is responsible for death, and not God as some would tell us. (Hebrews 2:14) Our creator Jehovah God sent his Son Jesus Christ to ransom us from death and to destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8) Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me will live though he dies." (John 11:25) With Jesus Christ enthroned as King of God's Kingdom, resurrection of the dead - including Quincy - and a restoration of paradise on earth is assured. It is My hope that until that time comes, you will find hope, comfort and peace in these promises from God. R/ Martin SkipperGrumby@aol.com

Very sorry for the loss of your gallant son and brother. Quincy was that one in a million. I had the privilege to know him and be taught by him while I was his Scout Master in the Uintah 8th ward, and one of his youth leaders in the Deacons Quorum. His sense of humor at a young age was refreshing as well as entertaining. May our Father in Heaven bless each of you in this time of grief. We all know that he is free of pain and looking forward to that great and glorious reunion. Love for the Fenn Family. Dave Stone Former Scout Master Troop 436
