To the Dye Family:I regret I was unable to attend Scott's funeral yesterday. I was not well. My parents, Bill and Marion Bott, were very dear friends of Scott and Katie. My parents are both deceased. My first job was at Samuel's Department Store back in 1968. I went to the emplyment office and filled out an application. Scott told my parents it was not necessary to do so! I have very fond memories of both your mother and fahter. My condodences are with you all at this very sad time. Love,Jeri Anne Bott

I extend my sincere condolences to the Dye family. I worked with Scott for a number of yearswhen I was the boys buyer at Auerbach's. I lost otuch with him when the store folded. I always found him to be a gentleman of class and a pleasure to work for.
