Renold Kihlstrom

December 11, 1953 - March 29, 2017

Renold Kihlstrom passed away on March 29, 2017 at Ogden Regional Hospital due to complications with diabetes.  Ren was born on December 11, 1953 to Gene and Judy Kihlstrom.  He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and then went to work in construction retiring from Big D.

 

Ren loved going to Wendover to play in the bingo and slot tournaments.  He also enjoyed running bingo at the Eagles and staying up at the Eagle Campground.

 

He is now pain free and with his best friends, mom and dad.

 

Ren is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Pam), Alan (Michelle); sisters, Teri (Bruce) Smith, Laurie Whitten and Karen (David) Ball.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.

 

Private Graveside Services will be held.

 

Arrangements under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

We always played bingo where he called at the Eagles he was always friendly and made it a fun place to play on fridays.. you will be missed.. Rest in piece Ren...

I worked with Ren at The Kier Corporation for a couple of years in the mid to late Seventies. He was well respected, he worked hard, everyone liked him. Ren was a Good Man, I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

My grandfather and grandmother had a trailer up at the Eagles camp grounds. I spent a lot of time as a kid hanging out with the Kihlstroms. Later when I was older I started to help out with bingo at the lodge. Ren was always a delightful person to work with. He will be missed very much.
