Condolences for Rick W. Farrow

Rick Farrow and I are 2nd cousins. His mother, Olive Ruth McMinn, and my mother Mary Frances Walker were first cousins. When I was a child, we used to come west each summer, from Kentucky, to visit our grandma, Ruth McMinn Walker in Salt Lake City. I remember going to visit "Olive Ruth" in Ogden, when I was about 8 or 9. Rick as introduced to me as "little Ricky" (which is ironic since I am only 9 months older than him). I remember him as being quiet and and that he smiled a lot. I am saddened for your loss, particularly, since it seems like Rick died too soon. Best wishes to your family from a distant cousin. Dear Rick's Family, We are so sad to hear of Rick's passing and send our sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family. We remember Rick as a handsome and shy kid who all the girls had a crush on but didn't dare do anything because he was so shy. We are sorry to loose such a part of our memories at Bonneville. Sincerely, The Class of 1969

We'll really miss our good neighbor. Rick was always so friendly and had a ready smile and willingness to visit. Our cul-de-sac won't be the same without him.

Rick and I are friends from back in the Interpace days. Rick was a tremendous influence in my life back in those days. We made some great memories back then that I will always think back on with great joy. I always thought that I would run into Rick somewhere over all these years, but regretfully never did. (Oh what a regret.) Well maybe in another life my friend. My wife and I would like to express our sympathies to Kathy and the rest of the family. Kevin & Debbie Allred

Dear Kathy, So sorry to read of the passing of Rick. So many good times have been spent with him and you. Trips down south, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and just hanging out at your home. So many talks and advise from Rick that really helped make life long decisions. He was always there to make us laugh and have a good time. His and your friendship has always ment so much to us. We both want to send our love and sympathy at this time and let you know how much we love you. When you feel you can, we would love to hear from you and spend some time with you. Dear Kathy & family, I am so very sorry to hear about Rick. It breaks my heart to know what you are going through. Knowing first hand of the heart ache you and your family are feeling. Everyone at ORMC loved Rick and looked forward to the day he was Volunteering. He could charm everyone and get them to talk about whatever. He was amazing! I will always treasure the Lady bug tea pot he gave me to cheer me up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Cry when you need to, but also remember to laugh and share the wonderful memories. Take care, Thelma Grogan
