So sorry for everyone's loss. Jerry and I were neighbors for 18 years. He was a wonderful person and a great neighbor. He always had some advice or a story. Never talked bad about anyone. He would just say that person just has a different way of doing things. If he and I were in our yards working we always took a short (10+30 minutes) break to sit and talk. I enjoyed every minute I spent with him. I will miss him!

Jerry always made me feel like I was important to him. He was a I have your back kind of guy. Not so long ago he sat by my side and said dammit regarding my cancer and I knew that was the way he really felt. A few weeks ago I sat by his side and I said dang it regarding his cancer. He said to me ya dammit and I know that was the way we both felt. I have so many fond memories of him. I will miss his compassion and strong hugs. I love you Jerry and I will look forward to the day when we will meet again.

Jerry was my stepdad but was the best dad I could have ever asked for. He helped me in so many ways with his wise words of wisdom, etc. He and my mom, Darlene, were always there for me at the perfect times and moments when I needed them the most. He could fix anything and would help anyone he could. He took us all camping, 4 wheeling, boating, dancing and so much more. He will forever be in my heart and my wonderful memories of him. I loved him more than words can say! Rest in Peace Dad. Valorie Kirch
