Dear Mike & Family: Sally was my cousin, 4 years younger than me. Her mother, Margaret, was my mother's sister. My earliest memories of her date back to a time when they lived in Renton, Washington, in what I recall to be the "Renton Housing Project." When her family moved to Utah we lost touch. I recall her as being kind and friendly. She seemed to always be in such good spirits and was fun to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike and the family. With Love and Sympathy, Cousin Bob, and Pam

Sally Burson was my niece and I spent a lot of time with her when she was a baby and a little girl. She always had a smile and a sweet personality and I baby sat her and her sisters . Once I took her with me to my high school when we needed a child for my Home Ec class. I remember her little hand in mine and how excited she was to be going to school. I miss that little girl and the lovely woman she became. My deepest sympathy to Mike And the family. Love,Aunt Betty

Dearest Mike, Christopher, Natalie and Sabrina, I am so proud of you all for the love and gentle care you gave to Sally. She was the sweetest Spirit and the most loving big sister. I treasure the memories of her love and laughter. I don't know of many big sisters that would watch Saturday morning cartoons with the baby sister, teach me to color "in the lines and shade properly", allow me to hang out with her and the boyfriends-in her teen years. She let me love each of her babies as they were born and trusted me to take them on adventures. She consented to go to Disneyland with me, for the first time, so we could connect as adults while celebrating the inner child in each of us. I am proud to have been there to watch her wonder at her first airplane ride and her happy tears at hearing Jiminy Cricket singing "When You Wish Upon a Star". She has been an example of courage as she fought this courageous battle with grace and beauty. I am so blessed to have been her sister and will love her forever. DIane and family

My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. I pray that you are comforted by God's grace and know that he will walk with you during your struggles. Sally always brought a smile to me with her free spirit and fun laughter. I am sure she is now in God's hands looking down on all of you with a smile of joy and pride. Her spirit will be missed by all that crossed her path. I know that she will be missed by mine.

Dear Mike and Family, You have all been in our prayers and we pray that God gives you peace, comfort, and the knowledge that Sally is resting in the Lord's arms, at peace and no longer in pain. She was a beautiful person. The memories I have of her are vivid and the times we shared together as children will never be forgotten. We stayed together and played together as children, and although we lost touch with each other for a period of time, and distance separated us, she was, and never will be, far from my heart. God's peace and blessings to each and every one of you. Love, Cousin, Betty Lou and Les

Sally was a wonderful person - she was fun, caring, and always so strong. I had the privilege of working with her in the mid 80's on the PTA Board at North Park Elementary. She loved her own children, as well as the others she worked with and for. It was so easy to become her friend as she was so caring and kind. In the late 90's she worked with me at a publishing company, and she brightened the office and my days. For thirty years I have appreciated, respected and loved this woman! I will miss running into her and catching up. My thoughts and love to her family for the gap she has left in their lives.
