My heart goes out to Butch's family. I had the pleasure of knowing Butch for many years! We was close. my greatest memory of him. . . . . . well there r a few!! was when we were young and he use to tell all his friends i was his girl. So one night we was out cruising the vard. and Shane wanted to go kick it at his place so we get there and Butch is there with this girl. So I act a sight and freak out saying i cant believe you im pregnant with your kid and your out cheating on me. it was so funny he was so embarrassed and butt hurt cuz i ruined his game she ended up with Shane that night and Butch, Larry and I clowned, laughed and they acted like they were Guns and Roses and sang Welcome to the Jungle to me. I love you Butch and cherish all our memories dearly. I'll be missing you till we meet again! your 4-ever and eternity girl. Love, Cassandra

I worked with Butch for about a year in 2010-2011. He was a wonderful, smart, caring, and funny person. He will be truly missed, but he will remain in my heart, and all of his friends's. My prayers go out to his sister that he dearly loved, and the rest of his family.

I will always remember his laugh and his smile. He was always so full of energy. I remember the first time I was about seven years old when my mom was talking about Shannon coming over. She was very happy. We lived in Utah at the time. When my mom said he was coming over she called him Shannon and Butch. So when she showed up he said his name was Shannon. I looked in the car and there wasn't anyone else in there. I looked at my mom and was upset and said you told me I was going to meet my Uncle Shannon and Butch. Where is Butch. They both laughed at me. I also remember the time he was teaching me to drive me to drive and I hit the neighbors fence or the time he had me watch a video which made me a vegetarian for like a month. I will miss him always!

Although Butch and I didn’t spend a whole lot of time together the past 10-15 years, we started to re-kindle that relationship over the past couple years. I really enjoyed our time we spent reminiscing about our childhood. Even the bad stuff we did he would bring up, and then he would laugh in his raspy voice. I think that’s what I will miss the most; the way he talked and could bring a smile to your face. Butch was tough as nails when he needed to be, and he was as gentle as a kitten to those he loved. You will be missed my brother. God, I ask you to show mercy to Shannon and show him your Grace. Please be with our family and friends as we mourn the loss of someone special to each and every one of us. He fought a good fight and lost a few on the way, so I ask that you heal him and make him whole. Give our family and friends the strength to know how to use this adverse situation in light of you, Lord. Help bring us closer to you, Father. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, amen.

Lynn, I just wanted to send you a note to tell you how sorry I am about Shannon. I have fond memories of him as a young child. He was the same age as our daughter Lorri. I have been friends with Lee Ann forever. Shannon was always so full of joy and laughter. I remember him hanging out with his dad. I can still see you holding him as a baby on the Wolverton's couch. I know he will missed. Please know our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Debbie (Stettler) Nations

When we were kids, we kept using Larry's sawhorses up in the tree in the back yard to make a tree house (Shannon, Crystal, Dawn and Marcy). It was great fun. Will miss you bunches. RIP. Love you.

I am going to miss you so much. I remember all the times we had together. Especially the one where you baby sat for Mom and Dad. It was my first safety meeting :) Please give Grandpa and Brandy a kiss or me. I love you and I don't know what I am going to do without you.
