Shirley Ritchie, 91, passed away March 26, 2016 at home with family by her side.  She was born May 12, 1924 to William Lavonzo Bowden and Lillian Mary Long in Sparks, Nevada.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the hospice workers who loved and cared for their mom.

Mom will be greatly missed by her family.

Tony, we are sorry to hear about your mother's passing. As you can tell we don't read the obituaries very often. We've changed the color of a few things in the house and revamped the yard a bit, but we think the spirit of the place hasn't changed a lot. You are welcome to stop in anytime and reminisce or anything. We wish you and your family the very best.

Tony and family. I'm so sorry for your loss. It is hard to realize we are all getting older. It's hard to see my childhood friend's Mom's pass away. It is hard to lose a parent but at least we know they are not that far away and that we will see them again, My love to you and your family during this difficult time..
