To Renae and family,Wow! What a shock. My heart feels heavy today as I just found out. Kent was a great man. I loved and respected him very much. He is the heart and soul of your family and I saw that in him in every thing he did. I remember the great times he had doing stats for Weber High and the times he could get his sons to come and help. We will miss his presence in our halls. May the Lord bless you in this time of lose in your family.Coach Ted Petersen and Coaching staff at Weber High.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this hard time. I just lost my oldest daughter to cancer in January, and it has been a very difficult challenge to get through.I have always admired you and Kent and the relationship you had with each other and your children. May God's comfort and spirit be with you and your children through this I pray.

Dear Call Family: I am sorry to see the passing of Kent. He was such a great man and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him at the WSU basketball games and in seeing you and your family around town at weddings and other occasions. He always would ask how my family was doing and how Grandpa and Grandma Taylor (Brian& Jean) were doing. Your family has always had a special place in my heart. It was always fun being able to see RaNae when I attended Weber High and to go to school with some of the kids. I apologize for not being able to make the viewing tonight to express my love and condolences. He will be missed but he is in a "better place" and it will only be a "short time" before you will be able to be with him again as a family,Love,Brett Hadley

Dear RaNae, I was shocked to see Kent's obituary in the paper. I haven't seen you for quite awhile, so I wasn't aware that he had been sick. I do know that you are too young to be without your sweetheart! I am so sorry! I pray that the Lord's sweet, healing Spirit will be with you and your family during this time of sorrow and in the lonely months ahead to bring you comfort and peace. Uncle Kent had many nieces and nephews, but he always had time for each of us as individuals. When he sat down to talk to you, he opened his whole heart to you and cared about nothing but you in that moment. I will always be thankful for how he welcomed my husband into our family with open arms. We love you, Uncle Kent!

I am very sad to hear of Kent's passing. I was fortunate to have known Kent and had many memorable conversations with him. My heart goes out to my good friend RaNae as well as her children, especially one of my favorite former students, Celeste. I know that their faith will see them through this hard time until they can be reunited with Kent again.

Kent was a very good mentor to the children at the old Industrial School. He had very good relationships with staff as well. The world is a sadder place without him.
