Tandi Leigh Johnson

April 22, 1958 - October 27, 2016

Tandi Leigh Johnson, 58, passed away October 27, 2016.  She was born April 22, 1958 to William and LaRene Perkins in Sumter, South Carolina.  Tandi graduated from Moon Valley High School.

Tandi was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She was selfless and continually gave of herself to others.  She was full of love and light causing people to gravitate to her.  She was kind and compassionate, always helping others in need.  She was always smiling no matter what trials she was facing.  When Tandi loved, she did so unconditionally, never wavering in her support of her family and friends.  She had many admirable qualities and talents.  Some of which were: organization, cooking, crafts, creativity and multitasking.  Tandi always found ways to make sure those in need were taken care of.  She was fun and carefree, always laughing.  She had and infectious laugh which made everyone else laugh too.  She had an incredible testimony and loved serving the Lord by teaching but has been welcomed by her Lord with open arms.

Tandi is survived by her children, Zachary Johnson (son), Amanda (daughter and Brydon Graham; grandchildren, William Johnson, Raylee and Eli Graham; mother, LaRene Perkins; sister, Kim Perkins; niece, Melissa (Adam) Robinson and their daughter, Juliet.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Johnson and father, William Perkins.

LaRene, Kim (KC) and family, We are SO saddened to learn of Tandi's passing. What a sweet gentle spirit Heavenly Father has brought home. I can imagine the great reunion she is enjoying with her son and father and others that have gone on before. I first met Tandi when our young family attended Glendale 4th Ward in Arizona for the first time (1973). She and the rest of your family were so welcoming. You all made us feel right at home. At the time. we only had Michelle (1 1/2 yr. and Todd (6 mos.). Tandi and Kim (KC) were the very first babysitters Michelle and Todd had, and that began a life-long friendship with your family. I remember that your house was the last home we would visit on Halloween night each year. It was a VERY sad day the day you all moved away. I've never been good with time (as you all knew too well) so time slipped away too fast. BUT Tandi was always good with time and organization and periodically kept in touch to update us on your family. My memory of her will ALWAYS be of a sweet kind generous hardworking lady, who loved you all so VERY much. We have been blessed by your friendship. Know that our thoughts and prayers and hearts go out to you today and in the coming weeks. And may you have peace knowing she is in a good place, surrounded by loved ones and no longer in pain. Love you so much, Ann Garvey and family

Tandi, my dear friend. I will forever miss you, your sweet smile, your friendship, your compassion for others. Your willingness to help those in need & most of all, the deep love you had for your family. Your time here with us was way to short, but I know deep in my heart that you are watching over your family, helping them through this tough time. Your ability to light up the room with your smile will be missed by all who knew you. My life is better because you were in it. I will miss you always. ~Sherry~

Tandi was a one of a kind person who had so much love to give. She always put others needs before her own and never complained. I will miss Tandi and it is still hard to grasp that she has gone. Tandi will now be able to hold her infant son again in her arms with her loving father by her side. My heart breaks for the Perkins family with their loss and know she will continue to watch over her family from above. Love and miss you my friend.
