To Diane and to Tommy's family; I was very sad to hear of Tommy's passing when Janie posted it on Facebook. I would have come to the viewing if I had known about it sooner. Diane, you and Tommy lived next door to my son Todd Field and Michelle and their family out in Farr West. Todd was really sad to hear about Tommy passing away. He said he had a lot to do with Tommy when you lived there. He was so pleased to hear that he had married and had two girls. I emailed my sister Jeanne this morning and told her. She is on a mission in Nashville,Tennessee. I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and I hope that you will be able to feel peace and comfort to help you through this difficult time. With all my heartfelt sympathy, Nancy Jennings Field

Be at peace....What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, wishing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you are gone, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories to hold on to.

Tommy was so AWESOME!! I loved when he would come into UCMT and say hey. He always made a point to swing by my office and see how life was going. Especially after he had his Lilly-Bug. :) He LOVED showing her around. It was so neat to see him in a father role. He seemed made for it. I remember first meeting Tommy and thinking his exterior presentation was rough and semi-scary. LOL How wrong I was!?! Of course, he could hold his own, but inside he was a Big Ol' Teddy Bear. Such a big heart and love for people and life! His smile was infectious and his eyes always so bright and lively. It was such a joy knowing Tommy and getting to experience his energy. I feel blessed at having been able to call him a FRIEND. RIP my friend!!!
