Tausha and Tristin,It is a hard, hard thing to lose a parent and my heart goes out to both of you. I have a lot of good memories of Tom when we were young--especially the fun time times in Clear Creek. I pray the good memories of your Dad will keep you strong and give you comfort at this time. I love you and will keep you in my prayers.Love, Cousin Sally

Tom, you were the kindest most honest and sincere man and I will never forget you. You befreinded me from the very start. I was new to your AA group and you were the first to welcome me. You made me feel at home. You came to my rescue when I relapsed and to me your heart was huge. You never had a mean bone in your body and I only wish I could have gotten to know you better. Life is so short and you never know when it will end. I know you are in Heaven Tom because your soul was too kind to be anywhere else. Love, Patrick & Mary.

I was lucky to work with Tom in the Albertson's pharmacy at 3945 Washington Blvd. He was great to work with, a quick learner, and very popular with the patients. Everyone loved him--how could they not, with his big grin and good sense of humor? My husband Nyles and I visited Tom in St. George, and the last time I heard from Tom was when he moved back to Ogden. I retired to take care of elderly parents, and lost track of Tom. Tristan and Tausha, we are very sorry for the loss of your dad.Tom brought a big philodendron to the pharmacy and we had it up on the top shelf for a long time. When the pharmacy was remodeled, the plant came home with me. I have 3 lovely plants from the original, and have given away numerous starts. I think of Tom's good heart every time I look at those plants. Tom will live forever in our memories, and his kind nature will always be with us. All our best wishes,Sheila VanHoosen, pharmacist, and Nyles VanHoosen

One of my foundest memories of Uncle Tom is him teaching me how to drive his little truck in the church parking lot by his house. I have thought of that often. I have a son turning 15 next week. All year I have been looking forward to take him to our church parking lot to teach him to drive, so I can be the "cool" Mom, like Tom was the "cool" uncle. Well Uncle Tom that driving lesson took place a couple weeks ago and I couldn't help, but think of you. Thanks for letting me know that I was a good kid and capable of rising above and doing good things. Kiss Grandma and Grandpa for me will you??(Taush and Tristan,. LOVE you guys!!!!!)

Thomas Blaine Tucker,There are so many wonderful things I could recount today of my many fond memories of you. You were my friend, my confidante', my artistic muse, my shopping buddy, and a brother by choice. You babysat my firstborn son as a baby. As a toddler, you watched over him while I gave birth to my second son. There were seemingly innocuous things--but all those simple things were builders of strong and rich memories--we laughed, we talked, we sang, we played, we painted, we cooked and ate together for so many years. I plead and cried for you to find AA. I praised and cried when you found it. I will always remember your resonance of compassion, your wonderful singing voice and the robust kindness of your heart. I shall be sad at the loss of you in this life but for a moment. I will gladly rejoice the day I shall see you again because then we can create some new experiences in friendship. Tristan and Tausha, I am deeply filled with sorrow at the loss of the man you called dad and I called friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that can find a small measure of comfort in the vast love your father had for you both. Sincere regards, Lori Grimm-Bundy

Sorry about your early departure, having to leave your Family. Comfort them now, when they need it most. God bless you, God bless your Family. Tom always made me feel like I was his most important friend every time I saw him. He had a way of making all his friends feel that way. I just loved him. I loved his laugh, his smile and his big hugs. I've missed him since I moved to Texas and I know all the people in Ogden will have a hole in their hearts at his passing. Love you Tom.
