She was always great to work with and did a lot to coordinate the many clinics that we have at the VA. She will be greatly missed here for her significant contributions and for the wonderful person that she was. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Joan Heusser

I just spoke to Vickie the other day...just a few words passing in the hall. "Hey! How are you?" "Good, You.?" ... we were both rushing on the way to meetings...seems rushing is the right word.... life goes so quickly. We need to stop and smell the roses, take the time for a touch on the arm or a moment to go for coffee. She was a warm soul and her untimely passing has hit us pretty hard. May God hold her in the palm of His hands until we can pass in the halls of heaven and I will take the time to embrace her and share a laugh. My condolences to all who's life she touched.

I never met you Vickie Sue, but I am acquainted with her parents, Pat and Gib, and I know they loved you bunches and were so proud of you and your accomplishments. You were a shining light in their lives and will be sorely missed. They were also very proud of your grandchildren, and mentioned them often in words and pictures. God be with your family as they share memories and your life on Friday, Feb. 24th, 2011.

To The Family of Vickie. Even though we did not know Vickie personally, we do know how much she was loved. We hope it will comfort you to know she is with our Heavenly Father and free of pain. Our hearts are with you at this difficult time.

Vickie was special...her sense of humor & unique observances made her a "one & only." I'm short and Vickie never let me forget it...her "short" jokes always made me laugh; even in a work related email, she'd get me with another one and I loved it. I will miss her so much, but thankful she was in my life, even for such a short time. Thank you, Vickie, for being you.

Vickie will be greatly missed! I worked with her for almost 9 years at the hospital, she is the one that hired me to work in the clinics. I loved her sarcastic nature and fun loving spirit, it's hard to believe she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So saddened by her passing so very young. We shared a lot of things during our friendship and I will truly miss her, her sense of humor, her blasting Cher songs, and talking about her much loved grandchildren. My condolences to her family, she was one of a kind and I loved her. She seemed like a daughter to me and I will treasure the time we spent together. I know she will be watching over her family from above and helping to guide them.

Trisha and Ryan --My deepest condolences for your loss. I'm at a loss for words at the moment but I do hope you know that you have family to help you through these trying times. Myself included. If you ever need help with anything....the kids if you're having a bad day....someone to just talk to.....know that you can count on me or anyone in the family to be there for you and please don't hesitate to get ahold of one of us. I didn't know your mom but I know the love a child feels for their mother and you will go through some hard times in the months to come. Try to remember the good times....laugh at the funny things she did, tell your children stories about their grandma so they never forget her and know that she's always near you, if only in your heart.Love Barb
