William (Bill) Robert Pitzak
August 18, 1925 ~ April 17, 2014

Bill was born in SLC, Utah to Valentine Pitzak and Mina Matti.

He graduated from East High and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as an engineer in research and development for in-flight radar.

Bill graduated from Weber State College in 1971 with a Physics Degree. He retired from DDO and owned FASCO T.V.

Bill loved snow skiing and playing tennis. He had a great wit about him which continued until his death.

He is survived by his sons; Val, Michael; and daughters, Debbie, Kathy, Deanne, Leanne, Pamela, and Susan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

We would like to thank Pamela Swensen and her children Jett and Gentree who provided loving care for him until his death.

Family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden, UT.

Graveside services for close friends and family will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Uintah Cemetery.

I'm very sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I met Bill while working at DDO and we shared the love of tennis and skiing. He was a super good guy who would help anyone in need. My prayers are with his family.
