Although there are many different types of burials in the United States, the most practiced form remains traditional cemetery burial. At Leavitt’s Mortuary, you can make all of your plans in one place at one time since we own and operate Aultorest Memorial Park, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Utah.
The 60 acres of Aultorest Memorial Park’s alluring landscape will make a serene final resting place for your loved one. Our on-site greenhouse allows us to shower our property with fresh blooms throughout the year. We’re also conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, so you can visit your loved one without the distractions of traffic.
At Leavitt’s, we know what a stressful and overwhelming time losing a loved one can be; planning ahead can make the process much easier and less expensive for all involved – allowing you to weigh all of your options ahead of time.
You can begin the process of preplanning your burial here.
One of the biggest reasons we have such an attractive cemetery is because of Endowment Care. For years, each family that purchases a cemetery space has paid a one-time fee of $100.00. This small, required fee is deposited into an endowment care trust fund. The principle is never touched, but the interest is removed from time to time for grounds care and maintenance, ensuring for future generations your resting place will never become overgrown and run down.
The historic Mount Ogden Mausoleum was added to Leavitt’s in 1935 and remains the most dignified way to perpetuate your family name.
At Leavitt’s Mortuary, our mausoleums are crafted with only the best materials and finest construction. We offer many options including both side-by-side and tandem crypts, and each entombment is designed according to your specific desires and concerns.
As the premier mausoleum in Utah, we are constantly improving. Therefore, we are currently constructing the third phase of our Crystal Gardens Mausoleum.
