The Elmer Family regretfully announces the loss of their beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend Cullen Charles Elmer on June 17th, 2018. Cullen fought long and hard which was his spirit to battle his demons. In the end, the pain was more than he could bear.
Cullen was born September 27, 1989, in Payson, Utah to Chuck and Kerry Elmer. The family then moved to West Haven, UT where Cullen was raised. He graduated from Fremont High School in 2008. Cullen attended Weber State University where he played baseball as a catcher. He played in the 2009 NCBA College World Series in Fort Myers, FL. Hunting and sports were ingrained in his DNA. He was passionate about hunting, baseball, football and especially golf. Cullen was always willing to help others. If you ever wanted someone to have your back, Cullen was your guy. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Family meant everything to him.
Cullen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley and Eugene Bingham and Michael and Myrleen Kelly. Cullen is survived by his parents, Chuck and Kerry Elmer, brothers Austin and Brock Elmer, sisters Amber Kelly and Stephanie Atwood, with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, two Shih Tzu's, Chubbers and Chewie, and his grandma’s one-eyed fat cat, Autumn,
Family will greet friends, and anyone whose lives had been touched by Cullen on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27th, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary.
Interment will take place at West Haven Cemetery, 1500 South 2350 West, West Haven, UT.
