Curtis Scott Spencer, age 68, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born September 15, 1949 to Ralph Ira and Elsa Ruth Spencer in Ogden, Utah. Curtis graduated from Weber High in 1967. He married Joanna Susan Morris on September 11, 1985.
Curt spent 7 years in the Air Force Reserves and many years working at Hill Air Force Base as an electronic technician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making his yard beautiful. He loved classic cars, Harley’s and wearing Hawaiian shirts and blue jeans. He liked his music loud ;especially John Prine, David Lindley, Joe Ely, and Country Dick Montana and the Beat Farmers. He loved wiener dogs particularly his special friend, Sadie. She will miss him forever; He was her “person”.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Joanna; children, Jeremy Morris (Jana), Sarah Wagoner (Jake), Rebecca Mecit (Murat), and Jessica Clayton (Seth); seven grandchildren, Danielle, Nate, David, Keynan, Gemma, Damla, and Azra; three brothers, Steve (Barbara), Doug (Elaine), and Jeff (Michelle). Curtis is preceded in death by his parents.
As per his wishes, no funeral will be held. In “luau” of a funeral a get together will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at Civic Center Park, 2300 North 1500 West, Clinton, UT at 5:30 pm. Please wear a Hawaiian shirt in his honor.
