Deeb Khaled Wardell Deeb

August 12, 1996 ~ September 16, 2018 (age 22)

Deeb Khaled Wardell Deeb age 22, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at home on September 16, 2018, after fighting a brave battle with leukemia. He was born on August 12, 1996, to Moustafa Deeb and Chere Lynn Black Deeb in Ogden Utah. Khaled graduated from Bonneville High School and was a freshman at Weber State University Majoring in Marketing. Khaled was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin.

He has left a legacy of love, kindness, and valiance for all of us to follow. His favorite place to be was with family and friends. He was the first to greet you with a sly warm smile that let you know you were loved. Khaled loved playing basketball and spent many hours winning at HORSE with his Grandpa Black and his cousins and friends. He loved traveling. He enjoyed many trips visiting cousins and family in Lebanon, Rome, and California. He spent many of his summers in Mexico with his family and friends enjoying the beach, scuba diving and playing on the boat.

Khaled had a great sense of humor and loved to tease those he loved. His passion was to beat all his family and friends at video games. He was very competitive and he made it hard to beat. He was a leader among us with his quiet and gentle ways he showed us how to love unconditionally and taught us strength. His heart was huge, and he always made you feel important and loved. He was always more concerned for others than of himself. He was an example of what not giving up and remaining brave is when faced with adversity and trials in our life. To know him is to love him.

Khaled is survived by his parents, Moustafa Deeb, Chere Lynn Black Deeb; sisters, Wajha Moustafa Deeb and Kamilla Lynn Deeb; nephew, Braxton Moustafa Deeb; and by all his family and friends in Utah and Lebanon. Who will love and cherish him forever…
