Georgia Lewis, 68, died July 31, 2018 in Ogden, Utah of natural causes.
She was born June 21, 1950 in Ogden. She was the youngest daughter of Reuben Anthon Lewis and Marion Beatrice Lindstrom.
She attended Weber County Schools, and graduated from Bonneville High School. She attended Dixie Junior College on a scholarship and graduated from Weber State College with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked for Cutter Labs, DelMed, and retired from Fresenius Medical in 2010.
She loved reading, hand sewing and growing vegetables. She enjoyed the outdoors especially camping at Grey’s River, Wyoming. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and spent countless hours compiling family genealogy.
Georgia was always glad to be of service to friends and family and gave generously of her time and money to different charitable organizations. Many people have been blessed by her generous gifts.
She is survived by three nephews and three nieces: Patrick (Liz) Lynch, Thomas (Kaylene) Checketts, Marion (Randy) Call, Chris (Jaimee) Checketts, Elizabeth (Scott) Cowley, Amy(Kent) Williams and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 2,2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, Utah. Family will greet friends prior to services from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m.
Interment: Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
