Judith Ann O’Connor, 70, died Monday, July 30, 2018.
Miss O’Connor was born November 7, 1947, in Ogden, Utah, to George Demming and Lois Brewer O’Connor. She had a stepmother, Darlene Garrison O’Connor. Her parents, step-mother, and step-brother, Eric Malmrose, pre-deceased her.
Judith was raised in Ogden, Utah and graduated cum laude from Weber State University with a BA degree in Advertising Design.
She worked for several local advertising agencies and printers during her career and was last employed by the IRS until 2007 when she received disability retirement.
Judith chose to serve Jehovah at age twenty-six and symbolized her dedication by baptism as one of Jehovah’s Christian Witnesses on December 9, 1973. She remained faithful to that dedication serving Jehovah to the best of her capabilities and to the extent her health would allow throughout the rest of her life. She looked forward to the resurrection and growing to perfection on a paradise earth during Christ’s thousand-year reign. For more details concerning Judith's beliefs please visit www.jw.org
Surviving family members are one sister, Mrs. A. Paul (Maureen) Adams of Farmington, Utah; one brother, James Martin O’Connor of Flordia, Hawaii, and her step-family: Reese Melrose, Tyler Melrose, Mrs. Jim (Alisa) Casper, and Mrs. Janet Fordham.
Her remains were cremated by Leavitt’s Mortuary. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate her life. Please join those whose love surrounds her and whose hearts miss her at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 13, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4431 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah 84067.
