Mary Fae Ross Page, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2018. Born on October 3, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of George A. and Iona Wayment Ross. She was the fourth of five children. She always talked fondly of her growing up years. She was educated in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. On September 12, 1959, she married her sweetheart Wallace Page and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 25, 1967. Together they had six children. They lived in Ogden, Utah later moving the family to Bountiful, Utah.

Mom worked as a school lunch cook, bank teller, and operated her own Swim School with her children as helpers for more than twenty years. She loved teaching the children who were afraid, and her soft-spoken demeanor always made her very successful. As a bank teller, she became personal friends with many of the patrons. Her love for people and her desire to make all around her feel comfortable endeared her to many.

As a young wife, mom was a beautiful dancer. Mom and Dad were dance directors in their ward and she loved teaching the youth to dance. She was a beautiful hula dancer and would entertain with the Clarke Brothers performing all the around the Wasatch Front. It wasn’t unusual to find mom and dad dancing, with dad humming the music as they danced, usually to Ann Murray’s “Can I Have this Dance?”.

Mom loved to study the gospel. She loved to study the scriptures in depth and did so daily. She loved and knew her Savior, Jesus Christ. Together mom and dad served a mission in the Atlanta, Georgia, North Mission, where she left a little piece of her heart.

Her greatest joy was her family. She loved family gatherings and watching the kids swim, play softball and steal the flag in the backyard. Next to her family, she loved serving in the Bountiful Temple, where she served right up until her passing.

She is survived by her husband, Wally, of 58 years and their children, Natalie & Rex Gines, Kaysville; Michael & Suzanne, Kaysville; Steve & Wendy, West Point; Jeff & Jenny, Layton; Scott & Tatum, Snowville; and Joe & Kaitie, Bountiful; 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her brother, Kent & Kathy Ross, and other family members, Richard Gomez, Norene Page and Ray and Hazien Page.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Maggie, brothers Don Wilson and Dale Ross, sister Jan Gomez, and brother in law’s David and Jay Page and sister-in-law’s Maxine Page and Linda Ross.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6th at 11:00 am at the Mueller Park Stake Center 1800 East Mueller Park Rd, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday, August 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the same location and from 9:45 to 10:45 prior to the funeral services.

Graveside Services will follow on Monday, August 6th at 3:30 pm at Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah
