Michael Javier Briseno, 70, of Ogden was dealt his final hand on July 10, 2018. He was born in Ogden, Utah on June 21, 1948, to Jesse and Amelia Briseno. He attended Saint Joseph's High School and graduated from Bonneville High School.
Michael was recently retired from Zions National Bank where he was the Vice President of Payroll,. Michael also spent many years at Unisys Corporations as well as his younger years at the Internal Revenue Service. Michael was actively involved in bowling leagues and loved spending time running the Chicano Golf Association.
Michael leaves his beloved children: daughters, Gina (Ralph), Stefani, Carli and son, Michael (Randi); all living in Arizona. He also leaves his beloved siblings: sisters Adalia (Carlo), Camille and brother, Ismael - Smiley. Michael also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his nephews and nieces who have always been a huge part of his life. Michael was preceded in death by his father Jesse Briseno and mother Amelia Briseno.
As the deck has been shuffled, Michael now will have a seat at the highest table. His family and friends will always remember him for his honesty, integrity and most of all the love that he has shown us! He has done so much for so many and now he can take peace that he will be with his mother and father.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. There will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 pm.
Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
