Robin Rae Romero Gutierrez, 63, passed away in her sleep on Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was born on March 25, 1955, to Jose Gilberto and Onda Rae Jacobs Romero in Ogden, Utah.
Robin attended Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah and graduated from CL McLane High School class of 1973 in Fresno, California. She also attended Fresno Community College.
Robin married her sweetheart, Jimmie Gutierrez in Ogden, Utah on November 19, 1977.
She was a member of the Spanish Assemblies of God where she held various positions including Sunday School Teacher, Women’s Ministry Leader, Missionettes Leader and the service that was closest to her heart – Homeless Outreach.
Robin was recently retired from IRS. She was really enjoying retirement.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate, Jimmie; her children by birth, Santiago (Angel) Gutierrez, Verlina (Reuben) Adame, Cassandra Gutierrez; her daughter by gift, Kristie (Jared) Banks; her treasured grandchildren, Berlyn and Rome Gutierrez, Azariah, Ariana, Adonijah, Elijah, and Ezekiel Adame, Victor and Araceli Salgado, Alex (Jason) Mikesell and Justin Moore; her “baby” sister, Joice Romero Victor and her many cherished nieces, nephews and God children.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Robin will remain Forever in Our Hearts and is now in the arms of Jesus.
A Celebration of Life / Dinner will be held in her honor on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 4:30 pm at the Calvary Christian Church, 4737 South 1900 West in Roy, Utah. If you wish you may bring a salad or dessert to share. During the dinner, there will be an open mic available to share your thoughts or special memories of Robin if you desire.
