Our precious angel, daughter, sister, friend, and soul mate Teri Ann Nielsen passed away peacefully in her sleep in the dawn hours of the full moon on December 22, 2018. Teri was born in Salt Lake City to Richard and Joy Nielsen on November 25, 1974.
Teri attended Cottonwood High School and graduated from Valley High School in Salt Lake City. She received an Associates Degree from Salt Lake Community College. Teri was a competitive figure skater through her youth and won many competitions.
She was blessed to live and work in Lake Tahoe, Breckenridge, CO, and eventually back home in Utah. For the past five years she had become an accomplished stylist and beautician and loved her career.
Teri was an amazing and beautiful person who shared her love, kindness, friendship and loyalty with her friends and family. She had so much love to share. There are no words to describe the profound sense of loss we all feel with her passing.
She loved her life and those in it; and was truly happy. You could always see that in her beautiful smile. Her spirit of adventure was perfectly suited for the wonderful journey she and Dan would embark on for 7 ½ years!
Teri is survived by her loving mother and best friend, Joy Nielsen; brother, Chris Nielsen; her life partner and soulmate, Dan Alfieri; and her numerous furry children.
She is preceded in death by her father Richard and her sister Jerri.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Grandview Acres Clubhouse, 3796 Quincy Ave, Ogden, UT on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Our loss is profound.
