Thomas (Tommy) James Edwards, 66, passed away in his home on November 26, 2018. He was born to Max and Jen Edwards, in Ogden Utah, 1952. He was full of spirit and lived life to the fullest.
He graduated from Ogden High School in 1970 and took off shortly after to West Yellowstone to live and work in the great outdoors. Always up for an adventure, he then went on to spend the remaining part of his early working career living in Oregon and Southern California, finally making his way back to Utah where he worked as a conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad, retiring early due to an injury.
He had the gift of gab and had a story for every situation, entertaining his family at every gathering. He loved to fish, hunt, and golf, participating in any outdoor activity. His two favorite fishing holes were Flaming Gorge and Alaska, where he made many memories.
He loved love, and was married three times, most recently to Teresa Edwards of Ogden. Out of that marriage, they had a daughter, Brooke, who died at birth. He also loved and doted on her two boys, Zach and Trevor Williams, whom he loved as his own. Even after his divorce Tommy continued to love and cherish his relationship with Zach and Trevor.
Tommy is survived by his brother Grant Edwards, and step-sons Zach and Trevor Williams. He was preceded in death by his daughter Brooke Edwards, brother John Edwards and parents.
Family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm.
