Obituary

Alexander Reginald Boulton passed away peacefully on February 7, 2015 of natural causes surrounded by loved ones. Alex was born June 25, 1917 in London, England, but he was an Aussie. His family moved to Australia when he was young, and it wasnt until years later, he and Irene, his wife of 71 years, moved to America to be sealed in the Logan Temple. Irene was Alexs love of his life. He lived and breathed for her. They were kindred spirits-they were as close as two people could be. Alexs life was full of service for others. He served in Signals with the Australian military during World War II. He was bishop of the 28th Ward in South Ogden. He served as an extraction worker for the LDS church for over 30 years. Between him and Irene, they extracted over 13 million names. Alex served diligently in many church callings. He was the manager of Crawford Doors in Ogden for nearly 30 years. Anyone who did business with Dad, knew of his honesty, dedication to detail, and commitment to hard work. Alex was adventurous, inquisitive, had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and lived every minute of his 97 years. He amazed everyone by his intelligence and uncanny ability to recall and retain information. He is survived by one son, Alexander C. Boulton (Jan); two daughters, Anna Boulton (Rick Sline), Kathy Fessler (Michael); 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene; his son, Kevin L. Boulton; and his granddaughters Amber and Jessica Jensen.
