Darrell Hugh Clifton August 1, 1936 ~ June 5, 2019 Darrell Hugh Clifton, 82, passed away June 5, 2019, at Ogden Regional Hospital. Darrell was born August 1, 1936, in Deland, Florida, to Evan Clifton, Sr. and Lula Lastinger Clifton. Darrell was a proud and honored retired member of the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Charlotte (Brown) Clifton and later divorced. They had two children, Robert (Raquel) and Judy Clifton (FL), and four grandchildren, Amy, Bailey, Amanda and Nicole. He was also blessed with two children he chose to call his own, Memorree (Chris) Gogsdil and David Robinson. He loved working in gold mines, remodeling homes, and piddling around. Darrell was preceded in death by his nine siblings, Artis, Thelma, Austin, Alexander (Donna), Jackson, Evan Jr., Daniel, Milton and Franklin D. (Joyce) Clifton. He had many nieces and nephews, great and great-great. From all of us who loved you, we will forever miss you. Thank you to Memorree for the love and care she gave him through the last couple of months. He was blessed to have you. Funeral services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, on Wednesday, June 12th at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing prior from 12:45 1:45.
