Helen Stewart June 7, 1927 ~ May 5, 2019 Helen Emma Stewart, age 92, was born to George A. Amidan and Edna Ekins Amidan on June 7, 1927, in Slaterville, Utah. She graduated from Weber High School. She married Tom A. Stewart in 1947, in Vancouver, Washington. They had eight children, 20 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She worked for Sierra Lingerie and retired from DLA at Hill Air Force Base. She enjoyed ceramics and quilting and spending time with her family. She was a helper and friend to many. Helen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Lewis Amidan, Don Amidan, Walter Amidan, George (Bud) Amidan; sisters Pauline Clark, Edith Baugh; daughter LaVon Clark and granddaughter Melissa Stewart. She is survived by her sister Charell Anderson; children Tom A. (Louise) Stewart, Sr., Frankie (Manuel) Martinez, George Stewart, Ginger (John) Walker, Timothy (Debra) Stewart, Sherrie (Larry) Laub, Connie (James) Roska; also two grandchildren she raised, Dawn Clark Anderson and Nickolas Clark. Services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
