Jeffrey C. Lemberes's Obituary

Sergeant Jeffrey Clark Lemberes passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was an amazing companion and loving husband for 33 years. He was my groom, hero, superstar, the love of my life; my perfect piece to my puzzle! We were a dynamic duo with spontaneity, fun, adventure, and humor beyond belief throughout our lives together. I adored him, love and respected him with all my heart and all my breath. He was my rock and brown-eyed bear, my better half made just for me. He will always be my forever. "I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK" Sweet peace my Prince. XXXOOO Jeff was born in St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden, Utah to Robert P. Lemberes and Georganne Randolph Lemberes on May 14, 1969. His parents remember him as a happy baby who loved his big brother and followed him everywhere. Jeff was very active growing up. He loved playing Little League Baseball, skiing, camping, and riding ATVs. He attended Ben Lomond High School where he played football and received the first Coca-Cola Golden Helmet Award for playing on a broken ankle to finish out the season. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1987 and was working for Albertsons. He excelled exponentially into a meat manager and executive management trainer where he remained loyal for 17 years. Jeff had an interest in becoming a police officer. He was Post Certified at Weber State University and was hired at the Weber County Sheriffs Office. He was actively involved in many aspects of the Sheriffs Office; his most recent position was Internal Affairs Jail Investigations Sergeant. Former positions include the following: Investigations Bureau Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Corporal, Bonneville High School Resource Officer, Detective Investigations Bureau, Patrol Deputy, Community Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, EVO Instructor, Boat Patrol Deputy, U.S. Federal Marshals Fugitive Apprehension Team (JCAT). Jeff loved his job, he was loyal, ethical, thorough, and would lay down his life for his fellow brotherhood without a second thought. Jeff Married Suzy Stamos on November 3, 1990. Together they had an amazing, beautiful daughter, the love of their lives Shalese Nicole Lemberes-Chalk. Shalese gave them a beautiful granddaughter, Averie, who was the sparkle in his eye. We will remember Jeff most for his raucous sense of humor and ability to make people laugh out loud. We will miss his big, tender heart and sense of adventure and mischief. Most of all we will miss our dear brother, son, loving husband, grandfather, and friend. Jeff was preceded in death by his daughter, Shalese Nicole Lemberes-Chalk.
