Karen Rose Seay Trigueiro, 59, passed away March 31, 2016 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah with Elmer Osting, Karens fianc and companion of six years, by her side. The day before Karen passed away her friends, John and Kandice Lucero were there to pray with her. Karen suffered from multiple health issues for many tears. Karen was born August 23, 1956 to AJ Byron Seay and Elsie Tyler Morris in Tulare, California. Karen grew up in Ceres, California and attended Ceres High School. She was a dietician/nutritionist at Stanislaus Surgical Center in Modesto, California prior to moving to Utah. Some of her recipes were printed in the Modesto Bee. She loved cooking along with camping and fishing. Like her father she always had to grow a garden. She was a die hard Raiders fan and quite the poker player. The last few years she mentioned a number of times that her greatest accomplishment and her heart was her daughter, Sierra. We will miss her cooking and her great sense of humor. All that knew her will forever and always love and miss her every day. Heaven just acquired a great chef. Karen is survived by herdaughter, Sierra Elizabeth Trigueiro of Visalia, California; her fianc, Elmer Osting of Ogden, Utah; sister, Teresa Seay of Spokane, Washington; and nephew, Alex Paget (Tammie) of Spokane, Washington. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Drury Seay and mother, Elsie Tyler Morris. Two weeks prior to Karens passing, her father Jay Seay passed away in Modesto California with his family by his side. There were two Celebrations of Life held for both Karen and her dad at the Ogden Alano in which her father was one of the original co-founders.
