Scott Odell Rogers, 85, passed away December 9, 2021, at the Logan Regional Hospital. He was born March 29, 1936, in Lewiston, Utah to Elmer Hollis Rogers and Sarah Ruby Hokanson. Scott married Joan Combe on March 1, 1963, in the Logan LDS Temple. In 1954, Scott graduated from North Cache High School, he then spent some time in Moses Lake, WA. working in a Sawmill. He joined the Military from 1956 to 1958 serving in Germany. After returning from the Army, he became employed at Thiokol. He worked at Thiokol for a few years and then around 1967 he started working for Johnnys Dairy until his retirement in 2001. At that time, he moved back home to Lewiston, Utah where he lived until his passing. Scott served in the LDS Church as a Scout Master for many years. He thoroughly loved that calling as a Scout Master and working with the Scouts. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing with his family. He also loved helping his father-in-law, John W. Combe for many years robbing and taking care of his father in laws Honeybees. Scott is survived by his three sons: Kevin Scott Rogers, Darrell Lee Rogers (Eddy), and Mark Lynn Rogers (Debra), seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Combe and his mom and dad, one brother and three sisters. Viewings will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, December 17, 2021, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. A Luncheon will follow graveside services at the Riverdale 4th Ward, 5500 South 1175 West, Ogden, Utah.
