Obituary

Sevestino Allen Joseph Salazar passed away due to a tragic occurrence while preparing to go on a hunting trip with Don on June 8, 2018. He was 29 years of age. Seve was born on February 21, 1989, to Don & Janet Salazar in Ogden, Utah. Seve graduated from Bonneville High and Weber State University. Seves formative years began with his family at Creative Times Dayschool. He attended Kindergarten at Club Heights and off to Riverdale Elementary, T.H. Bell, and Bonneville High. He played baseball, football, LaCrosse, and hockey. Seve played LaCrosse for Utah State and then finished up his University education at Weber State. Seve always worked. He was destined to be an entrepreneur as he worked at the family construction company, CTI. Three years ago, he started his own business, SGS. Seve was an avid sportsman, traveling more than once to Africa and Alaska. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, coaching LaCrosse, and of course the Dallas Cowboys. Seve will be missed, he was loved because he loved so much. Seve is survived by his parents; two sisters, Andrea (Trevor) Miller, and Jestine Salazar; two nieces, Elena and Josephine Miller; and his grandparents, Joe Salazar and Joan Allen. He is preceded in death by Helen Salazar and Clair Allen. A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, from 6:00 7:30 p.m. The following day a Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park. The family would like to welcome and invite all that loved Seve to Reflections of an Unfinished Life, a program remembering Seve at 2:00 p.m. at Snow Basin, 3925 Snow Basin Road, Huntsville, Utah, casual attire.
