Shirley Mae Whiting Woodard September 7, 1934 October 3, 2014 Shirley Mae Whiting Woodard passed away peacefully on October 3, 2013 of ESRD. She was born September 7, 1934 in Rigby, Idaho to Nellie Mae Lyman Whiting and Marion Lyle Whiting. Shirley graduated from Utah State University where she met her husband William Allen Woodard. They were later divorced. Shirley was an English and French teacher in Ogden City for many years and later retired to St.George. She later resided in Clinton at Country Pines Retirement Center. Shirley had three children, Greg (Sue), Lari and John (deceased). She had five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joy Hogge, brother Ronnie Whiting, and her son John.
