William Kent Stettler, passed away on Sunday, January 18. His loving, generous heart was unable to continue. He is now having a joyous reunion with his Heavenly Father; his father, William; his mother, Betty Jean; and all the many wonderful friends and relatives, who have passed on before him. Kent was born May 25, 1960 in Ogden, Utah. After graduating from Ogden High School, he served an unforgettable two-year LDS mission to Johannesburg, South Africa. He then received his business management degree from Weber State University and joined the family business as the owner of the Bolt and Nut Supply Company in West Haven, Utah. There he was able to work side by side with his brothers Scott, Craig, and Jon along with his sister Kathy. On September 2, 1982, Kent married his eternal sweetheart, Cindy, in the Jordan River Temple. Moving to North Ogden, Utah, they raised their two incredible, platinum children, Kelsey (Kerr) and William Andrew. Kent was always happily involved with everything and anything. He loved meeting people, making new friendships, and serving Heavenly Father with his many church callings. He enjoyed tinkering on his beloved Ford Mustangs, being a ham radio technician, researching family history, and just being grandpa to his delightful grandson, Hatch. There wasnt anything he wouldnt try doing, and there was very little that he could not repair. He loved all his Disney family adventures and always being there for his children. Kent was deeply loved by many extended family members and countless friends who were always there to listen to his stories and share laughs with him. He also appreciated the many ward family members who blessed his life. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23at 11 a.m. at the Ben Lomond Stake Center located at 3550 North, 650 East in North Ogden. A viewing for family and friends will also be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 22 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St. in Ogden. There will also be a viewing from 10:00 to10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church.
