Keith Duane Winchester (Mr. Wonderful) passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born on June 6, 1928 in Rigby, Idaho to Melvin James Winchester and Ida Grace Lee Winchester. He married Marie Bybee June 2, 1950. Their marriage was sealed through the eternities on June 1, 1951. Dad joined the Navy his junior year of high school and served in Japan. After the war ended, he returned and graduated in 1946. He loved the phone company, starting his career in Idaho and later moving to Utah. He provided tremendous care for his beautiful wife for so many years. He was a wonderful father and grandpa grape to his great grandchildren. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions and callings. Dad was a very talented carpenter and built his own home. He was a perfectionist in everything he did. He loved to sing and dance and acted in many plays. He was fun loving and loved people. When asked how he was feeling his answer was always, With my hands. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; two sons, Brad Duane and Paul Dean; and daughter-in-law, Wendy. He is survived by his son Kelly (Janine); daughter Luann (Ken Kennington; daughter-in law, Sandra; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:00 8:00 p.m.at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Pleasant Valley 4th Ward (5640 S. 850 E. Ogden, UT) at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 9:30 10:30 a.m. that morning at the church. Interment at Ben Lomond Cemetery.
