Albert J. AndersonAlbert J. Anderson, 97, passed away March 11, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Albert was born April 4, 1913 in Burch Creek, Utah to Adolph and Annie Anderson. On June 6, 1942, Albert married the love of his life, Lois Bybee in the Salt Lake Temple.Albert worked at Hill Air Force Base for 32 years, retiring in 1974. After retiring he worked at Valley Nursery in Uintah for several years to earn traveling money for he and his sweetheart to travel the world. He was an avid fisherman for many years and enjoyed fishing trips to the Bighole River in Montana with his sons and grandsons. He fished the Bighole River for 50 years before his health interfered. He also loved to hunt in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Albert is survived by Lois, his wife of 68 years and his children, Barbara (Tracy) Carter; Larry Anderson, Curtis (Lori) Anderson and Clark (Patti) Anderson; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Lyle Jay and grandson Matthew.Funeral services will be held Monday March 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street. A viewing will be held on Sunday March 13, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the mortuary and one hour prior to services.Interment in Uintah City Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a donation to the LDS Missionary Fund or Trout Unlimited.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.leavittsmortuary.com
