Clearfield - Allan "Al" Kent Bowles, 79, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home. He was born August 3, 1938 into the loving arms of Alva Pike and Miriam Spackman Bowles in Ogden, Utah. Al married Molly Grange in 1958, they had two children and later divorced. He joined the Navy and was able to travel and see many things in his life. He retired from Hill Airforce Base and went to work for Young Chevrolet; and later security at Davis Hospital. He enjoyed being around people and was always willing to stop and chat with anyone. His true happy place was up on Sourdough Ranch and he spent as much time there as he could. Al loved being in nature and enjoying the harmony and wildlife in the mountains. He also loved his Cadillacs and drove them as long as he was able. He is survived by his daughter, Teri Pectol (Bill); his son, Wayne Bowles (Michelle); grandsons, Clinten and Corben Bowles; granddaughter, Molly Pectol-Kesler (Courtney); and two beautiful great grandbabies Oakland and Emerson Pectol-Kesler. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, five sisters, and his grandson Nathan Pectol. The reunion he had on Thursday was the happiest you could imagine! He is finally heathy, happy, and at peace. A Celebration of Life will be held June 19, 2018 at the LDS Chapel, 51 N 1000 W, Clearfield, UT from 5-7pm.
