Amanda Marie Barnes's Obituary

Our beautiful daughter, Amanda (Mandy) passed away too soon on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Jeanne and Kenneth Barnes of Hooper, Utah. She was raised in Roy and Hooper. She graduated from Fremont High School and then went on to Tech school at Ogden ATC. Amanda was employed at Birch Creek Mercantile in Ogden. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Amanda was a member of St. James the Just Catholic Church and also enjoyed visiting Summit Church. Our beloved Daughter, mother and sister has two beautiful children, Isabella and Matthew. They were her greatest joy. She was the happiest when she was with them. They spent many hours together. They loved to listen to music, dance, sing and play with her dog Abbie. Mandy was a great sister to her three brothers, Philip, Kenny and Jake. She also was a special aunt to her nieces, Emmy and Aleena. She enjoyed visits with her Grandpa Ernest and missed her Grandma Mary who passed away just over a year ago. Mandy was a shining light that shined bright on everyone she met. She had a bubbly personality and a sense of humor. She had a big heart and would do anything for anybody..she judged no one. Mandy was happy being with her family, they meant everything to her. She was very close to her mom, they were like sisters. She also enjoyed talking and laughing with her dad. When people said their heart was broken, The words would seem so sad. Now I understand, How hurt could be that bad. When we look up at the sky, We see a pair of wings go by. Its an angel we see. My arms long to hold her next to me. But this is a dream that can never be. She waves and continues on her way, So it is without her that I must face each day. I can only remember her in my heart, With the love and memories, were not apart. Mandy we love and miss you so very much. Words cant even say. You will be in our hearts and memories every day. Rest in peace sweet daughter of mine. Amanda is survived by her parents, Jeanne and Kenneth Barnes; children, Isabella Lucero and Matthew Barnes; brothers, Philip R. Barnes, Kenneth H.
