A TRIBUTE TO OUR BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERAMBER KATRIE MARIE LOPEZBeloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend, and walking angel passed away on November 9, 2012. She was born on June 15, 1978 in Ogden, UT., to Joleen Johnson-Clifford and Orland Lopez. Amber was blessed by having to fathers when she was little. She enjoyed hunting and skiing with her dad Orland. She was raised by and treasured by 2nd father David Clifford, whom she referred to as Papa Cliff. Amber was the first born and her mothers pride and joy. She graduated from Northridge High School in 1996 with honors and attended Salt Lake Community College where she studied Criminal Justice getting her Associates Degree.Amber was an extraordinary role model and a true inspiration naturally to friends, family and her co-workers. She was an amazing and selfless person with a heart of gold. She put everyone and everything first without expecting anything in return. The passions in Ambers life were in her enjoyment of the UTE Football games and watching them play with her friends, family and father Cliff. In her Marilyn Monroe Collection, and in filling her heart and soul with her music; singing and drawing which was her gift. She enjoyed camping, barbequing, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and dog Snookie. Amber is survived by and will be greatly missed by her parents, Joleen Johnson-Clifford (David), and Orland Lopez, Barbara and Deni Dunn, who were like second parents to her as they loved her and watched her flourish into a bright and beautiful woman, by her foster children, nephews and nieces, Joseph and Stonee Romero, and Nico Montes; her siblings, Angel Lopez (Rob Calaguas), Marie (Ryan) Steed, Michelle (Joseph) Romero, Christina (Donny) Young, David Clifford Jr., Derrick Clifford, Dena Clifford, adopted siblings; Israel Ramirez, Sofia Ramirez, Karla Ramirez and boyfriend, Glen Brandt. She is also survived by her grandmothers: May Cordova and Percides Lopez, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Jr. Johnson, grandparents, Jay Cordova, Timoteo and Dora Lopez and John and Elle Clifford. She will also meet a special Uncle Chris Lopez, along with many other special relatives when she joins our Heavenly Father. Funeral services for Amber will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 506, 24th Street, Ogden, on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Family will meet with friends on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street. Ogden, with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m.Services under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
