Amelia O. Briseno "Molly"Our beloved mother, grandma, nana, sister, aunt and friend, whom was so fondly referred to as "Molly" of South Ogden, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, April 3, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 13, 1924 in Reese, UT., to Salud Orosco and Juana Lopez, the oldest of eight children. She worked for Dunns Nursing Home for ten years and for the IRS until retiring after 25 years. Mom was a very special, strong and compassionate woman. She is survived by her four children Michael J. Briseno, Smiley Briseno, Adalia (Carlo) Ardito, Camille (Lawrence) Martinez, ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren with two on the way and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers Jerry Orosco, Ogden, UT., Angel Orosco, Citrus Heights, CA. and Alex Orosco, San Gabriel, CA. and many special nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Jesse), three brothers and one sister.The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Peregrine Hospice, Kathleen her Senior Companion, Kathy her nurse and Kayla for their special care they provided. Also to a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jorge and Maria Gomez of Santa Clara, CA. and moms brother Jerry Orosco, who provided continuous personal support to mom and the family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Ogden, UT. Family and friends may call Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT.Moms favorite saying was, "I have a beautiful family".
