Amelia A. Tersteeg Empey August 11, 1924 ~ June 23, 2014 Amelia A. Tersteeg Empey, 89, passed away peacefully, in her home, on Monday, June 23, 2014, with her family around her. She was born on August 11, 1924, in Mahnomen, MN to Albert and Theresa Tersteeg. She married Arthur Empey on February 3, 1944. Amelia worked at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, WA and retired from Hill AFB, UT. Her favorite pastime was reading. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are her children: Nancy (David) Steward, Malad, ID; Caryn (Richard) Gabel, Washington Terrace, UT; Joanna (Edward(Deceased), Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Barry, her granddaughter Jenny, her parents, and two sisters and three brothers. Amelia chose to have no services.
