Andy Neil Black, 64, passed away on January 27, 2021. He was born to Neil and Mary Black in Moab, Utah. Andy graduated from Monticello High School. Andy married Gaylene East in the Ogden Temple on June 25, 1977. Andy served an LDS Mission in Eugene, Oregon. He attended Utah Valley Technical College, Steven Henagers College, and Weber State University. He earned his masters in accounting. He remained a carpenter with Westover Construction for several years and worked a short time with Maestro Construction before retiring. Andy spent the remainder of his life as a faithful servant of the Lord working on family genealogy and serving as the ward financial clerk. He loved being a grandpa to his beautiful granddaughter Neila Barnes. He will be missed by many loved ones. Andy is survived by his daughters; Ghislaine, Annika, and YanciBlack, his parents; Neil and Mary, sisters; Diana and Geneil, brothers; Steve (Mandy), Mike (Sharon), and Doug (Vicki). He is preceded in death by his wife Gaylene. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery.
