Angie Kososik Edwards, 68, passed away peacefully in her home on July 24, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1949, in Salzgitter, Germany, to Erich and Elenor Kososik. She emigrated with her family at the young age of three years old and made Ogden, Utah her home. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1967. She then met the love of her life in Evanston, Wyoming in 1972. They were married two years later in 1974. Angie spent 38 years working for the federal government which gave her the opportunity to travel to many places across the United States, Guam, Hawaii, Iceland, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Okinawa Japan. It was in Okinawa that Angie found another home, and lived there for over eight years. She learned to scuba dive, golf, mountain climb, and karaoke like an expert. Angie was an avid follower of politics. She loved a good political discussion and could hold her own. One of Angies greatest passions was creating and making jewelry. She had an eye for putting colors together and bringing art to the lives of many. Angie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was kind, loving, had a great sense of humor, and was always up for the next adventure. She loved to travel and spent many vacations with family and friends. Angie leaves behind her husband, Grant, of 43 years; her son Jeff, and daughters Holly and Rachael, nine grandkids, six great grandkids, her brother Lothar, and extended family. A memorial service will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 2 pm, followed by a celebration of her life at The Barn Golf Course Club House at 4 pm.
