Anna M. DeMonge, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend died August 15, 2014 peacefully of natural causes. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, November 29, 1920, and was the daughter of Herman Wellerding and Mae Gebhardt. On June 25, 1947 she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) DeMonge at St. Cecilias Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob died August 8, 1996. She had been an active bowler for 50 years. She had been a Director and Treasurer in the Ogden Womens Bowling Association and in 1986 was inducted into the Associations Hall of Fame. Ann was an ardent sports fan. Her favorites being Notre Dame and the Utah Jazz. She also enjoyed many trips with her bowling tournaments, many Navy reunions with Dad as well as trips to Wendover. She had a love of animals, but her greatest love and joy was her family. She is a member of the Catholic Church. Mom is survived by her four daughters: Carol CD DeMonge, Layton, Utah; Marilyn Griffin and Donna Neill, Roy, Utah; and Barbara Colemere, AZ; four grandchildren: Gary (Paula) Colemere, Jim (Whitney) Colemere, Bobbi (Lenny) Hennessy all of Arizona, and Tyler Neill, Greeley, CO; as well as four great grandchildren: Avery and Cade Colemere, Connor Hennessy, and Colton Colemere all of AZ. Mom is preceded in death by her husband, a son James (Jim), granddaughter Ashley Neill, her brother Frank Wellerding and her son-in-law Wayne Colemere. The family would like to give special recognition to the wonderful staff at Legacy of Layton Rehab Center for their loving care of our Mom during her stay.
