Ardis Grover Bybee May 16, 1929 - April 16, 2015 Riverdale - Ardis Grover Bybee, 85, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 after a short illness. Ardis was born May 16, 1929, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of James Picton Grover and Lottie May Robison Grover. Ardis lived most of her early life in Morgan, Utah. She graduated from Morgan High School in 1947. On June 14, 1947, Ardis married Robert Lyle Bybee in Uintah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1958. Ardis worked at the IRS for several years and enjoyed her time there. She also enjoyed playing softball and bowling. She took great pleasure in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, all nine of her brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Chris Bybee. She is survived by her four children, Rodney G. (Cherre) Bybee, Columbia, MO; Susan (Robert) Dabling, Harrisville; Bette Barker, Riverdale; Robert J. (Debbie) Bybee, South Weber; ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. In accordance with Ardis wishes, there will be a graveside service on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Uintah City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Utah Chapter Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org).
