Arland Lee Stark passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 10, 2017, and was reunited with the love of his life.
Arland was born June 5, 1942, in Preston, Idaho to Oscar William and Florence May Snyder Stark. He graduated from Preston High in 1960.
He received an honorable discharge from the Utah National Guard.
In 1963 Arland married Kay LaRue Parker, they later divorced. On April 26, 1980, Arland married the love of his life and forever soulmate Glenda M Tidwell.
Arland worked and retired from HAFB, Utah in 1990. Some of his greatest joys in life were his family, rock hounding, camping and lapidaryhe loved taking a plain old rock and turning it into something beautiful.
He is survived by his three children Susan Wheelwright (Marty) of Washington, Utah; Dwayne Spencer (Sunshine) of Clinton, Utah and Robert Spencer of Ogden, Utah; his 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Earl Stark, his sister Juanita Dunkley and the light of his life Glenda M Stark.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 11:00 am. Friends may visit with the family prior to the services on from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th St, Ogden Utah.
