He was born in Boulder, Colorado on November 9, 1938 to Arthur Francis and Edith Gertrude Hazelrigg. He graduated from West High School in 1957. Joined the Navy, active duty, in 1961 and then the Navy Reserves and retired in 1994. He was active member of the American Legion, Elks and Eagles. He is predeceased by both parents and sister Patricia M. Harrison, brother James J. Hazelrigg. He is survived by the love of his life, Jean Rekoutis of Sandy, his sister, Joan L. (William) Turner of South Weber, and his niece Kelley P. (Thomas) Loevlie, and grand-nieces Caitlan and Alese Loevlie of West Jordan.
A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion Post 134, 345 Depot Street, Clearfield, Utah on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
