Our dear Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Dad was born in Ogden, Utah on April 14, 1916 to Arvid and Anna Rustad Nylander. He married Phyllis Hansen on July 2, 1937. Their vows were later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They spent 66 years together raising their kids, Ron and Colene. One of Dad and Moms greatest joys was spending time with family. Dad owned and operated Intermountain Neon Sign Company for 34 years. He retired in 1975. He was an active member of the LDS church. He had been Bishop of the Ogden 7th LDS Ward and a member of the Lorin Farr Stake High Council. Dads passion in later life was golfing with his buds. Dad is survived by his son Ron Nylander; daughter Colene Eskelson; grandchildren: Berit, Joel, Chet, and Maggie. Great grandchildren, Morgan, Mandy, Grant, Ella, Chloe and Bode. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Phyllis, his parents, and one brother: Carl Nylander, and one sister: Elsie Scoville. The family would like to thank Envision Hospice, and especially Nina for her tender loving care of dad.
