Audrey Van Pelt Fuller Combe's Obituary

Audrey was born in Keansburg, New Jersey. She entered peacefully into rest on February 18, 2016 at her home in Saint George, Utah. Audrey was the fifth of ten children. She was raised in New Egypt, New Jersey with four of her siblings on a poultry farm by her foster mother Miss Barbara Dietz. After High School, Audrey worked at a law firm as a secretary. She soon became employed by the United States Air Force where she met her first love, Otis Kay Fuller from Ogden, Utah. They married in 1951 and raised three beautiful children: Gregory, Pamela, and Jeffery. Audrey and Kay divorced 27 years later. Audrey then met Archie Frank Combe, her second love while working at Hill Air Force Base in Clearfield, Utah. They were married in 1979. Archie brought four children into the family. They were very much in love. Archie passed away in 2010. Audrey spent her entire life helping and being of service to others. For many years she served as a Pink Lady and Candy Striper at different hospitals and health facilities. Audrey was always at the neighbors and family members homes helping with whatever they needed. Her constant love for others was second to none. Audrey cherished her children, she loved life, she was blessed with a beautiful voice, loved to sing, had a passion for gardening, enjoyed beautiful birds, and her favorite hobby was crocheting. Audreys last and favorite job was at Lindquist Mortuary. She had the magic touch for comforting people. She was a delightful woman, loved by many and will be dearly missed. Audrey is survived by her son, Gregory Otis (Donna) Fuller of Clayton, California; her daughter, Pamela (Robert) Murray of Washington, Utah; stepchildren, Tawnya Combe of California, April Combe of Ogden, Utah, and A. Bob Combe of Maryland; nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren; sisters, Rita Sellitti of Pennsylvania, Betty Gassert of New Jersey; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her foster mother, Miss Barbara Dietz; husband, Archie Combe; son, Jeffery E. Fuller; stepson, Bruce Combe; wife, Carol; son, and seven siblings. Funeral Services to be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 12:00 noon to 1:45 PM. Interment will follow at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 N., North Ogden, Utah.
