Barbara Soderborg Barney, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on December 31, 2016. She was born on December 28, 1935 to Andrew and Margaret Cook Soderborg. She married Dale Barney on December 5, 1955. Barbara had a green thumb and loved animals in general, especially the birds that she bred. Most of all, she loved her family and loved spending time with them. Barbara is survived by her son, Craig Barney; her daughter, Lisa Barney; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Byron Soderborg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her parents; her daughter, Charlene; and brother, Dave Soderborg. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 12:00 to 1:45 pm.
